Some calls are
nobody else's business.
Get a separate Kamo number and give it to selected contacts. Their calls still reach you, while your incoming-call screen shows a plain Kamo-owned alias number.
No card for the trial. Plans have fixed minute limits and optional top-ups.
A saved contact's name, readable by anyone glancing at your screen.
The Kamo number: no name, no label, just digits until you unlock it.
Set up once. Nothing to explain to anyone.
You give selected contacts your Kamo number. Calls to that number reach your phone through Kamo.
Get a Kamo number
A real Canadian or US number, yours for as long as you subscribe. It works like any other number, it just isn't the one already tied to your name.
Give it to selected contacts
Calls placed to your Kamo number are relayed to your phone while showing a plain Kamo-owned alias number.
Their calls arrive behind a plain number
Your incoming-call screen shows a plain Kamo-owned alias. Your PIN unlocks the encrypted call record in your Kamo dashboard.
Only you can ever turn it on.
The person calling you can't activate Kamo or control what appears on your screen. Only you, the subscriber receiving the call, control the service.
Calls can still be traced by police or a court, the same as any call. Kamo only changes what shows up on your own screen. Nothing else.
Privacy where calls appear
Kamo controls what appears on the subscriber's incoming-call screen.
Incoming calls through your Kamo number appear as a plain Kamo-owned alias number.
The same plain alias can appear on compatible watches and vehicle displays.
Your browser decrypts call history only after you unlock it.
Only the Kamo subscriber can enable or disable masking.
Kamo does not alter outbound caller ID or calls placed through other apps.
Pick your minutes. That's the only decision.

Questions people actually ask
Straight answers, before you sign up.
Do I have to give up my real number?
No. Your existing number keeps working exactly as it does today. The Kamo number is an addition. You hand it out only to the contacts you want masked.
Will the person calling me notice anything?
No. They dial the number you gave them, it rings, you answer. Nothing on their end changes and nothing false is shown to them.
Can you read who called me?
No. Your call history is sealed to a key we never hold. We can add to it; we can't open it. A stolen database is ciphertext.
What happens if I lose my PIN?
You get a recovery code at setup. With it, you're back in and nothing is lost. Without either one, the service keeps working, though history from before the loss can't be recovered, not by you and not by us.
Can these calls be traced?
Yes. Carrier records exist whether Kamo is in the picture or not, and we respond to lawful requests. Kamo changes what your own handset displays and nothing else.
Where does this work?
Canada and the United States today.
